The Pick Your Own Procedure

Any Monday or Thursday in June, July, August, or September is pick your own day.
On the first visit only, you must go through an orientation (5-10 mins).

To Set Up the Orientation Visit:

1) Please contact us using the form at the bottom of the contact page.

2) We will schedule a meeting to show you where the containers are and where the various fields are located.

3) At the meeting, you will also sign a waiver and set up electronic payment.

Additional Pick Your Own Visits Are Informal:

- You can come on any Monday/Thursday at your leisure throughout the summer. No notice required.  (We likely won't be here but we come onto the farm randomly throughout the day, as do volunteers and workers, friends, grass cutters, haymakers, beekeepers etc.  Just wave if someone drives up - everyone knows which days are pick your own).

-
There are no specific "hours" for the farm. You can pick at any time on Mon/Thurs that you'd like.

- Please use our provided containers since we charge by the container. They are located in a white bin in front of row #3 (red raspberries).

- When paying: Please send your payment to our farm Paypal account(nutsaboutberriesfarm@yahoo.com) or
Venmo account (@nuts-about-berries). We charge $4 per 1/2 pint box (red raspberries) or $5 (black raspberries)

It is recommended to check THIS page before coming - it is updated at least weekly to show which numbered rows are ripe and available to pick. Each berry row has a 2-3 week window and then it is over. There will be times when we have 5 rows operating at once (around July 1) and times when they are all "in between". So the text at the top of this page tells you whether to come, where to go when you get here, and what types  you can get. See the Varieties tab for an approximate ripening schedule.
